I have just finished a new website for a model railway engineering company based in Wales named Essel Engineering. The new website is now live on my server and will replace the existing website on the company’s server as soon as the company puts together the details of their web host. I have created the website using a Content Management System (CMS) which, once put in place, makes it very easy to update and edit and easier for the user to search through the product catalogue. The site currently uses a standard layout and design, but I will be discussing a number of design options with the company’s owner in the near future.

I recently designed a new logo for Essel Engineering, a small model railway engineering company that produces and sells model locomotives and components. The company did not previously have a logo, so I created one as a part of their new website design, which will be posted in the next couple of days.

I have recently taken on the task of creating a brand new website for a newly-formed jewellery company called Silver + Stone. This includes the content, design and layout of the site as well as creation of all of the graphics, including the company logo. The logo is now completed and can be seen below. The website is currently under construction and should be published in a couple of weeks.

I was recently commissioned to complete a painting of a thatched cottage as a birthday present to its owner, Mark, from his partner Sandra. I have had to keep it a secret for a while but it is his birthday today and the painting is now framed on his wall, so here it is.

After a few teething problems with my hosting service, the website is now completely functional. I have a couple of web projects on the go but while I am awaiting feedback from my clients, I hope to get a few more paintings done. I have just finished a painting and am currently accepting commissions for original artwork so if you are interested in my work, please get in touch. I am also planning to develop an online shop to sell high quality prints of my paintings. If you would like to keep up to date with the latest developments on mattharvey.com, please bookmark my site news RSS feed. You can follow the site’s development using your browser or any news aggregator.

It took a while to compile some of my best work and design and construct the site but MattHarvey.com is now fully operational. Feel free to browse the current content but please check back regularly to keep up to date with my latest art & design projects. Once I have completed my current web design job, I have some artistic projects to keep me going but I am always willing to accept new commissions for art or design work. As new content is added, I will announce it on the site news page. The site is up and running, but this is just the beginning.
